David Luiz is a Gooner; What Universe am I in?
It still feels like a dream of how this transfer window has panned out. We pulled off some major deals, considering the so-called 45m budget that was reported we had. Out of all the deals, I think the most shocking of the lot is the signing of David Luiz from Chelsea; I still don't know if I should be worried or excited.
On his day, Luiz is a force to be reckoned with but he has those erratic moments as well. Here are the boys at Arsenal Fan Tv doing their thing and talking about the recent signing;

What's the reaction from Arsenal supporters? Seems like a very short term compromise signing in the wake of your former captain leaving. It's surprising and of course Luiz has always had his critics but at least Arsenal took action and signed somebody for an area that needs stregthening
Kieran Tierney was also announced an hour or so before Luiz was announced. I think the announcement of Kieran dampened the shock of the David Luiz deal. There are mixed feelings about the deal; some say he's the Brazillian Mustafi and others say he's the poor man's Sergio Ramos, we'll find out as the season proceeds. He has a decent track record, experience and can motivate with his thrust in games.
In my opinion, it was an amazing deal, a salvage job that went way better than expected and all that's left is to wait until the season starts. A strong start is important for momentum and Morale, it will also be good to start the season with an away win because it was one of our struggles last season and the season before. Overall, I say it was a very positive transfer window that ended with Iwobi moving to Everton for 40m. Not bad business
