Hello my dear Steemians and Art Fans,

No.109

This is a project to support young artists of traditional Art on Steem.

As always we would like to invite you to our gallery that included today mostly portraits, it is interesting to read the posts and see how people think and how they build up their works. Sometimes we use traditional rule of drawing like it was in past, building the volume and values with hatchings and a bit soft pencils. Lately people starting to blend the graphite of pencils and that gives very nice and smooth surface, that is something like painting but people use different tools like cotton wool or special blender. I recently found that you can make it yourself just rolling the tissue paper with pointy end.

Black and white has its own attractive side but nowadays especially in social media it is more attractive to present the colourful works that just caught an eye and this is what we want, to make people stop and think about our work.

It is always satisfying when we see people supporting such work, some works may sometimes take few days and even week and if at the end the work receives minimal upvote and no comment that is the moment when many of Artists just quit the platform.
