"The Museum at DLSU invites the Lasallian community to view “FAUNA: Exploring closeness and distance of animals”. The exhibit features works of the artists’ exploration and experience with various animals in the country. The artworks are from the Wili and Doreen Collection and loaned works from select Filipino artists. The exhibit runs until August 22." Source.

An exhibition featuring works that showcase visual translations of the artists' exploration and experience with various animals in our country from wild to domestic, especially the endemic, critically endangered, and getting extinct.

The exhibition is a reflection of the role of different activities to protect and help the creatures away from total eradication and an exploration of their inhabitants from the deep sea, vast forest, and wide sky. It also aims to display the rich biodiversity as an essential part in balancing the Philippine ecosystem, as well as to present the importance of the animal welfare.

The works are from the Wili and Doreen Fernandez and University Art Collections and loaned works of selected Filipino artists.

The Museum at De La Salle University is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Mondays to Fridays.
