Working my ass off!

The AFAS experience center

Yoyo Steemers, I've been in the Netherlands for almost three weeks now, working my ass of on the biggest art project of my life. Ive been coordinating with other specialists to get colors, materials, and designs finalized for production. The opening isn't till January 2021, but in about a year, we will be needing some 25.000m2 of print to cover the gorgeous building we are working on. So it's very important we get it right and get to printing ASAP. The designs are secret for now, so I can't show you those yet.

I've rarely received so much love and respect for my work. They treat me like family, put lots of trust and faith in me + set me up in a fancy Hotel and lend me a AMG Mercedes to use in my free time. It's a big boost of confidence, they could have selected any artist worldwide with their 93 million euro building budget. Yet they picked a no name artist from a Caribbean island widely regarded as backwards by the Dutch.

So it's been real, I'm learning so much, I've been working with the head architect, Director, Ceo, CFO and so forth, of a company that turned over more than 350 million euros last year. So not only is the art project a life achievement, but I'm seeing first hand, how successful people handle their business. I'm gonna try and apply some of the things I consider the fundamentals to success when I get back home.

Check above link if you would like to see a video of the building.

I'm really happy and grateful to get to work on something so amazing. Hopefully I can use this experience + leverage this project to stop being a starving artist and to transition into abundance.

From hopeless to hopeful

Crazy to think that a few months ago I was waking up with suicidal thoughts everyday for weeks. Now I feel like I can do anything I put my mind and heart too again... If you are also an artist/creative or in any situation where the struggle is too real... Don't give up! Keep believing in yourself and expand your vision. Work hard towards it. Middle finger for the haters, big hug for the supporters, but you need to believe in yourself. You need to have faith, work hard and roll with the punches.

I hope you are all well, sorry if my post is a bit blasé, but I wanted to at least update those few followers who actually give an F, so here's to the rare ones, big hug!

Little piece I wrote last week

"Be like the sea-turtle. Hatch, make your way to water, survive the many predators, grow, feed, learn, explore and don't die. Be one out of a 1000 that doesn't perish to the dangers of the world.

Grow stronger, smarter, and gain experience. Create a vision, roam the oceans, find a mate and (pro)CREATE, then come back HOME to start the cycle over again. Be proof for the new hatchlings that there is a chance for us. The harsh reality is that most of won't even make it passed the beach. But know that with courage, determination and good fortune, you can be free to fulfill your destiny."

Bonjour @artzanolino.

Thank you so much, as usual you give me a great boost. I really appreciate your Love and support. It gives me another reason to keep at it and I will do my best to keep sharing, caring and improving. Merci du fond du coeur. Cheers to your kindness, beauty and generosity.

Here's one of my father's artworks that is fitting right now that words fall short.

I am very happy for you. This a great project and I I'm excited to see it finished. For me though I have a daughter who is 14 years old and very artistic creative and just struggling in life. I thought the one paragraph that you wrote from hopeless to hopeful could really help her. I'm going to screenshot that and show it to her. Thanks for posting.

Good Luck!

Amazing story artzanolino! So happy for you, way to keep at it and trust in the multiverse and yourself. I just came across you via @crypto.piotr I'll have to check out more of your art. I see you love water beings. I'm actually on a hunt to find an illustrator for a children's short story. It's based on a true event that happened to me in my 20's in Hawaii and I would like to share it with the world. Would you be interested in possibly doing a few paintings for it? It involves dolphins.... ;)
