Indeed since childhood I have not had time to learn and join with those who work in the field of art, but in the young age at this time everything is realized with my efforts and hard work in my love of the culture of the region. Little by little I went to learn the ins and outs of the dance, I mengekinya slowly so that I can master the movement and purpose of a traditional dance.

Likok Pulo dance is a traditional dance originating from Aceh, Indonesia. "Likok" means the motion of dance, while "Pulo" means island. "Pulo" here refers to a small island on the northern tip of Sumatra Island which is also called Breuh Island, or Rice Island.

This dance was born around 1849, created by an elderly cleric derived from Arabs who drift in the sea and stranded in Pulo Aceh. This dance is held after planting rice or after the rice harvest, usually the show is held at night even if the contested dance can run all night until the morning. Dance is played with sitting position kneeling, together or shoulder to shoulder.
