I always love the whimsy and joy of your art, it can uplift me straight away as soon as I see it!
I love the idea of a walnut boat. I used to (Well I still do in truth) love to take small things, like tiny shells, paper, bits of rose petals and set them afloat on the sea to see if they will be filled with tiny spirits or fairy, it's fun.
We have a row of walnut trees by our house on Cape Cod and this time of the year they are littering their bright green husks everywhere, mostly due to the squirrels impatience to get at what's inside.
Sorry for the late answer Donna, I've just discovered your comment.. ;-) I love how the little elements can make great accessories to the tiny fancy creatures, like the acorn's cupule make cute bonnet, or mushrooms make either umbrelas or houses for the tiniest .. ;-)
