For those interested in the details....
One of the lovelies of the fleur world is the Orchid, its elegant posture and poise is a welcome sight.
How to capture and demonstrate its qualities in an artistic manner is the challenge for the artist...of course the artist is never quite able to fulfill the elusive challenge, but gives it a go nevertheless.
This artwork is presented with the goal of illustrating the elegance of Orchids in an artistic way.
Tools used.....iPad Pro, various sketch apps.

I read a lot of nonsense on the platform from time to time and am heartened by the good things I see here too. Your posts always bring beauty by way of @bleujay's work highlights of the natural world...(Who doesn't love the majestic, graceful yet often aloof aspect of the orchid.)
As well as the wonderful principles, I see a lot of wonderful
engagementconversation on your posts too. This is a bonus that is not so readily available of late...Thankyou for adding to your fine work to this fine site. 😃

Beautiful Artwork and of course gorgeous subject. When I saw first time Orchids I was really puzzled with the shape of the flowers, later seeing the variety of those flowers that made me completely lost. My mother-in-law has many in flower pods and they already live for many years.
When I see the flower of orchid that reminds me a little bird with open wings. Have you ever thought about that?
As always really enjoyed the beauty of your clouds and thank you for sharing the tools that you used for this Artwork.

......no I had not thought of a bird.....I will now....a lovely thought.
I have really only begun to explore the world of Orchids......you are correct there are many kinds and sizes....I came across one the other day called 'Swan'......just enormous.....hope you have opportunity to see one. ^__^
Regarding the tools......additional tool.....an Apple pencil.......somehow that did not make it to print.
