Folco’s Birth – Pages 13 and 14
Hello !
Not the most productive week I ever had, but I'm happy I could finally work on these pages before the weekend.
Until a few hours ago I was pretty sure there would only be one posted today.
That second page was pretty hard to imagine for me : drawing women has always been difficult for me, often ending with weird proportions or rather male apparence.
The sketchy style save me in that case : I know from personal experience that trying to go deeper in quality wouldn't quite work :D
But, it's time for some more of our story's details to be revealed :

The day there will be nothing to learn by working on something will be the day to find something else to work on... But I guess there's not enough time in a life for this to happen :D

Better work at your rythme, I hate myself when pressure transforms into pain what should be guided by pleasure ;)
If it is not pleasure then it is pressure. There will be no more fun drawing in this process and I usually leave it to find some other thing to engage with.
oh ! he can father babies where all others cannot??? that's really quite a development in the story !!! i am very interested in where this is going :D

The woman looks lovely enough. If you're not confident drawing them, the only solution is to draw more of them :D.
That's true :)
That said, that whole comic experience makes me uncomfortable with every single thing it makes me deal with.
For someone who learns more easily from practical and empirical experience, the comics discipline offers a very rich and fulfilling set of problems to resolve.
