Acrylic Fluid Art: All Metallics Triple Flip Cups (Video)
For a long time I have wanted to create a painting with only metallic paints. In the video you can follow along as I'm layering them on by the cupfull ;-) Please bear in mind, there is no metallic effect visible in the video and this next photo, because the painting is fresh and the paint is wet. Metallics develop over time, as a painting is drying.

Two days have passed between the making of the video and the following photos. You can see the paint is drying ever so slowly, from the outside in, and there is just a hint of metallic now within an inch or so from the edge.
Unfortunately, we can't speed up the process with force-drying, e.g. fans and heat. This would create a bumpy appearance of the paint finish at best, cracks and crazes at worst. Only patience helps. A large painting can take a week to dry; for a smaller one 36 hours might do the trick.
