100%Polymer Clay Chibi Creation from Claytelier

This will be my first post here in this blog.

Polymer Clay is an art medium that is known for its versatility, pliability and simplicity to work with.
It is not a natural clay, it is man-made from a plastic, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) base.

Polymer clay is used by artists and hobbyists. What is good about polymer clay, it stays continually soft and can be baked in a home oven, retaining its color and size. It is available in many colors, that is why i love using it for making arts and crafts which i use to make polymer clay chibi keychain and figurines. After sculpting and molding to the desired design that u come up with, then is it ready to be baked in the oven toaster for 275 °F around 30 to 60 minutes. And let it cool naturally and walllaaaah your polymer clay creation is now finished.

To create your own colors, polymer clay can be formulated like paint, or colored with powders, chalk, ink, glitter, colored pencils, powdered makeup and paint. You are limited only by your imagination, and even then, there are plenty of projects and ideas from others to choose from.

The precaution of this clay medium is although it is non toxic it is not advisable for any for of consumption. Before or during baking accidents may occur specially burns, since you will be using oven toaster. There are times that it looks so delicious in the eyes but please be reminded not do pranks with one another that may lead to choking, ok? Do not mix it with your food nor eating in your working area, a big NO NO. When ploymer is still soft to the touch handle it with care before baking coz some details can't be redo after baking. And after baking, let the piece cool naturally by then your creation is sensitive at this point of process prior on finishing it. Do not over bake or putting it on tha highest temp in a short time because you are impatient, follow the baking guidelines of the brand. Art creation takes time also same as the other art.

We use Premo Clay and Fimo steadtler as our clay brands. For the equipment and materials that we use; Oven toaster is a must. We usually have a big white floor tile as a working plate for our works this is to manage easily the polymer clay easily. For the tools; needle tool is also a must which we really love to use, art knife, baller tools, brushes for your pearl powders and any other sculpting tools that i might think is usefull for your craft.

We are claying and sculpting what we love. Claying is our life ever since. We usually do commission and we usually give giveaways every now and then.

We made Claytelier as our steemit name, a combined word of clay and atelier which means workshop. Our plans for our blog, we want to produce characters what we love and characters that many would request . Sounds good right? Our clay creation is 100% made from polymer clay specially the eyes. The eyes are clay painted using polymer clay and place in such a tiny detail to the eyes neatly to produce printed like eyes. We do keychains and mini figurine / figurine of OC (original characters) from our clients. We also have our signature chubie pets where is in a chubie is identified depending on that accessories and decorative it has. I assure you they are really cute and tiny. Soon i might have a giveaway here. I hope we will support each other for art creations that we can share and motivate on another.

Here is one of our best creation.

Chibi Sailor Cosmos and Sailor Chibi2x from Sailormoon. They are 100 % made from polymer clay. Those eyes are also made from polymer clay. Yes, we studied and master the craft to let it looks like printed.

The scepter of Sailor Cosmos is also made from polymer clay. I usually do gradient of my creations to have unique outcome of every piece. I always make sure that when i deal with details, i can't make any eyesore like dirt.
