South African Art!! Part 2

in #art6 years ago

Hey everyone as promised my second edition for my earlier this week post on Awesome South African artists. I had to split this up into two posts as again I just took too many pictures like I do. Is technology not just amazing do you remember 20 years ago odd when digital cameras were not around and the normal analogue camera that shot negatives and needed to be developed at rather high expense? Now all we do click copy past BOOM I just think it is amazing..

Enough of the rambling here is some more art but before that be sure to check out post one here for all the seaside paintings.

Flowers are always good just this particular one in my humble opinion not as realistic as I would have liked I always feel that the more like the real thing they look like the more talented the artist am I wrong?

Same applies to this one it is nice in a way though.

Now this is more my style here a lot more realistic I feel, your thoughts?

Bit too much red in this one looks a bit like a traffic light, will surely get the eye moving in its direction however so if that was the intention whilst painting this, then ten out of ten!

Smoke at the foot of the mountain I just love this one and the realism again comes out which I love!

These look like the Stellenbosch vineyards so common in many South African paintings and I am loving it
