Brief visit to "Margaret Jones: Celebrating 100" Exhibition - Ceredigion Museum, Aberystwyth, Wales - 291118
This piece of work is called Dydd Mercher - Odin (‘Odin’ Wednesday) and it’s part of an exhibition celebrating the 100th birthday of Welsh illustrator Margaret Jones.
The exhibition is at the Ceredigion Museum in Aberystwyth until January.
The weather was dreadful and the sea extremely rough … Somehow @tinygalaxy and I managed to make time to go and see this special show after a doctor’s appointment. We didn't stay long as there was still the trip back to Swansea in the night.
Besides the wonderful watercolours there were working sketches with annotations. It was great to see work in progress and unfinished (and unpublished) work too.
