Artist of the Day - Week 4, Day 7 ~ @maxijgcomm
Today is the last day of week 4! It has been an amazing one... We are still small and young but we intend on expanding as we give this community artists a platform to shine in every supportive post we put out.
What would life be without art? A dull, meaningless existence.
What would art be without life? An empty, white canvas.
This blog is here to bring you all these beautiful, imaginative creatures that use their skills to express themselves through their work.
Our Artist of the Day:
Meet Maxwell Marcus from Nigeria, Africa. He says he is a visual artist with a great interest in art, culture and the history of Africa. Aside from his love for reading poetry and motivational books, he confesses he's addicted to drawing and the smell of fresh paint on a canvas.
His work, mostly realistic ballpen and sometimes pencil portraits, stands out. His unique style and patience with the details, allow him to produce good pieces. Iconic legends and faces dominates his work... Bob Marley done three months ago... The Great Nelson Mandela still three months ago.
And after 13 days off Steemit, this is his 'Art Explosion' entry themed 'Rebellion'.
