Hi Steemit family!

Some time ago I made some publications related to art made with garbage, so I will continue with a series of publications, because there are many artists who should be known in the blockchain, perhaps is the most interesting thing to make these species of biographies where I show how important art is in all its forms and expressions. Today we are going to discover a Japanese artist named Natsumi Tomita who is dedicated to collecting waste and transforming it into artistic works. Come with me to learn some things about her life and work.

source

For years the artist has prepared sculptures of animals using objects that she collects personally and others are provided by some friends and collaborators. No matter what the object is in size, shape and color, Natsumi Tomita manages to give it a utility by turning it into a new piece to be revalued again.

Among the objects used by this ingenious artist are pieces of automobile engines, umbrellas, bicycle parts, forks, spoons, rags, split plastics, metals of different types, all discarded as garbage.

source

Inspiration is found in animals that he immortalizes in sculptural works, turning waste into something new with a new life cycle, perhaps eternal if we take into account that most types of plastics last more than 150 years.

source

The idea is to create conscience of the objects of consumption that people normally discard without measuring the environmental impact, pieces and objects that once had life are discarded without remedy, this artist is so interpenetrated with her creations that she considers them as if they were real children. It is impressive the level of commitment that this artist decides to use all the garbage that she can find.

Something extremely attractive and interesting when looking at the works of Natsumi Tomita is to look at all the details of each of the pieces, you may discover some other known pieces may cost you a little. Surely you can see many, such as forks, springs, or covers of pasticos or kitchen utensils, bicycle parts, cans, signs, broken fans and lost umbrellas.

source

The sculpture itself states that it loves bringing new living creatures to life, the painter's intention to know the hidden history of who might have been the user of that trash that had a purpose when it served, while waiting to be found by the artist.

source

Perhaps if people had another type of education regarding waste, if companies did not manufacture packaging and products made of plastic or toxic materials and harmful to the environment life would be another and perhaps this Japanese artist would devote herself to another type of art. The reality is that millions of tons of garbage are produced annually and are discarded and in some cases mishandled, that is where the problem begins, there are no serious recycling policies because it is not business, there is no intention of the schools to address this issue in a special class, which irremediably ends up becoming a vicious circle.

source

Let's hope that good technology committed to the environment brings with it a new vision for the whole of humanity and finally let's begin to reverse the climate change that affects us so much, the melting of the polar ice caps implies the most immediate danger that we have, making more than half of the coastal cities around the world disappear.

These animals are so cool, but what makes them so awesome is they're made from trash and it doesn't even appear like it until you take a closer look. How creative of these artists, they're so talented!

Wao, que gran artista, ella realmente sabe como trabajar con desechos, todos se ven hermosos. Gracias por compartir esta información
