In Venezuela and in almost all Latin American countries, we have a four-string instrument, with different tuning and with a characteristic sonority.
In our country we usually say: "cam-bur-pin-ton" to hum the tuning of the four. For those who know music, the notes are A - D - F # - B.
This musical instrument, for many years was a great accompanist in rhythms of joropo, merengue, parrandas, etc ... and now thanks to its versatility and the creativity of great musicians it is a great protagonist.
