Some Old Bank Bars

Definitely some of my favorite silver bars are these vintage bank bars

I'm always on the lookout for the older and more obscure silver bars. Some of the banks I've never even heard of, there's quite a few but they don't come cheap.

Here's the few I do have

First is this beautiful First National Bank of Chicago bar

This one's in absolutely pristine condition for being almost 30 years old. There's two versions of this bar but unfortunately I only have one..trust I'm on the lookout for then other tho. Here's the back featuring the building the bank is housed in

Next is this toned up Royal Bank of Canada bar

These bars are more rarer than alot of Johnson Matthey bars you'll see around. Check out the back with JM and Royal Bank logos popping off..

Keeping it Canada here's another JM version produced for Scotiabank

This bar had the JM logo on the back with it's serial number

My other favorite would have to be this Chicago First National Bank piece, I love horizontal bars!

Just a beautiful bar from 1974. It's serialized on the back aswell.

The last one I'll show you today is a Credit Suisse bar

The premiums on these are crazy and you won't find one cheap. Luckily I received this is through a trade with a YouTuber a year or so ago

As you may have noticed the plastic capsule is broken, that's ok becaude I ordered 50 more online last night and I plan on filling everyone of them. These bars are my addiction! 😎

Geese GA, how many OZ's of gold/silver do you have? When's the last time you counted your stack fully?

I have a rough idea how much I have but it's not alot. It's also hard to calculate because it's stored at three different locals. Whatever it is it's not enuff, I have 20 more years collecting I figure then we'll see where I'm at? Thx for checking out my bars!

Man you always have the best looking bars, talk about Silver Porn!

Wow this is the first time I've silver bars like this. Great article on them too

Glad I could show you something different 😎👍

I have just started getting more 1 oz bars, and I like them. I want to see if I can add some more in to level out the round to bar ratio!. I don't have anything that rare, but I got a couple older ones I will dig out and post eventually.I think I have a Colorado Gold Brokerage bar, and a couple of either GoldWay or Southeast Refining.

I'm always up for a trade if you want? I'll pay more for bars I dont have..

I will see if I can get them all together for a Bar party and take some photos. If there are any your interested in we can deal.

Dang @goldenarms, those are some really interesting silver bars! Like you mentioned, I have never heard of some of those makers/banks, so they would probably cost a pretty penny. Do you usually try to get several of one kind or just one of a bunch of different things?

For these I'm trying to get as many different versions as I can. If i pick up any locally at a good price I already have I try to trade them with other ppl for ones I don't
