Today's Painting #63 - Sunset ❤

What is success for you? What do you feel when you see the sun sets? Do you feel regret like you just wasted one more day of your life? Or happy? Because there're a lot of things have happened and there will be more in the future. For me, I used to feel both feelings.

When I was teens I always confused about my life, I don't know what I want to be or what is the purposed of my life. I see my future as something scary and I feel down whenever the sun sets.

** I wish I could stop the time **

What if there's no tomorrow for me?

... I'm scared....

I can't sleep...

At that time I have no one to talk to, because it was a hard time for my family, no one has a time for something illogical... so... I was alone in that condition.

But.... my soul always wanted a change, so I keep learning, I read a lot of stuffs about life, I observe and asked people around me about life, love, empathy, happiness, success, etc. I also often discussing with myself about these stuffs. Finally....

I feel much better

After a long process finally I find out about myself, about what I want, about who I really am, about what I want in my life. Finally I see sunset in a different perspective, finally I can enjoy it, I feel warm and hopeful. I don't regret or afraid anymore.

Do you know what? Somehow Steemit become a big help for me in this process, I was graduated from archaeology, but I never really love it, I took that major because my mom want me to learn about it, she's never support my tendency to art. But, since I joined Steemit, I explored myself in fine art, at first I only draw simple anime, then one of my friends give me a watercolor as a gift, she said 'I think you have talent in art, explore more, I think you'll grow', since that time I used watercolor, then acrylic, and since I earn some cash from here my mom let me buying art stuffs, even my sister completely support me. Now I took a drawing class for beginners and also a graphic design class... Finally I can be myself, I can draw or paint without being afraid of my family gonna against me. Drawing is one of my reason to can feel hope and alive, because finally I know what I wanna do and what I wanna be.

** I will never forget Steemit and that friend of mine, as both are part of reasons for me to see sunset in a different perspective. ❤ **

Painting Process

Always start by the background, I used acrylic in the process.

Paint the trees and the boat, and keep editing the water.

Now adding trees leaves.
