ENTROPY 2.0 - Art is Everywhere
Continuing my series on Entropy, more precisely, how it is reflected in architectural decay and the resulting aesthetic beauty, which appears through time. As I was photographing these images, I noticed how each one reminded me and resembles works of artists in recent Art History.
These images were all photographed in Queluz, (Latitude: 38 ° 45 '23.65 "N - Longitude: -9 ° 15' 16.24" W), during October 10, 2018, in the municipality of Sintra in Portugal.
From the Greek entropia, meaning "a turning toward" or "transformation." First used to describe the measurement of disorder, by the German physicist Rudolph Clausius and appeared in English in 1868.
A common example of entropy is that of ice melting in water. The resulting change from formed to free, from ordered to disordered increases the entropy.
-Three Futuristic/Cubist "framed" works.
-This detail of a door, could be a part of Gerhard Richter's work ...
... or maybe one of Mark Rothko's color schemes.
-Very Cubist-like, resembling the early works from the beginning of the XX century.
-"Block-Addict .........."
