A Portrait Of Aceh Traditional Dancer (Bilingual)

I want to show you an old work that I created in 2014. I made a drawing of a traditional aceh dancer on A4 size linen paper with graphite pencil.

Saya ingin menunjukkan sebuah karya lama saya yang saya buat pada tahun 2014. Saya membuat gambar seorang penari tradisional aceh. Gambar ini saya buat di kertas linen ukuran A4 dengan pensil grafit.

Aceh is famous for its culture and one of them is its unique dance which has been acknowledged world that is Saman originating from Gayo. In addition there are many more other traditional dances such as Likok Pulo, Ranub Lampuan, Seudati, Ratoh, Beu sare-sare and so forth. Uniquely almost all the dances wear the same type of costume as the one in the work that I made.

Aceh terkenal dengan kebudayaannya dan salah satunya ialah tariannya yang khas dan telah diakui dunia yaitu saman yang berasal dari Gayo. Selain itu masih banyak lagi tarian tradisional lainnya seperti likok pulo, ranub lampuan, sedati, ratoh, beusare sare dan sebagainya. Uniknya hampir semua tarian tersebut memakai jenis kostum yang sama seperti yang terdapat pada gambar yang saya buat.

The drawing is a portrait of my friend wearing a dancer costume after her performance on stage and I still keep it and put it in my house. I like this drawing because at that time I was still learning to draw but I can make the drawing as good as this. It is a pride for me and also I create a drawing that is typical of Aceh, Indonesia.

Gambar tersebut ialah potret teman saya yang memakai kostum penari saat sesudah penampilannya di panggung dan saya masih menyimpan dan memajangnya di rumah saya. Saya suka gambar ini karena saat itu saya masih belajar menggambar tetapi saya bisa membuat gambar sebagus ini. Itu sebuah kebanggaan bagiku dan juga saya membuat gambar yang merupakan khas Aceh, Indonesia.
