I am just back from the Lotus Charity & launch event of the new cycles of @globalschool organized with @artcanhelp in partnership with notably Wien Kultur, @ionart, @mukitgmbh and @opt2o.

As the week has been busy, the event successful with @mammasitta, @gexi and @manncpt and all our @globalschool team and tomorrow I'll restart the cultural program with the first tour of the cycle, I'll try to keep it short ^^.

After running all the week long, today we could work and focus on the presentation for the Lotus Charity. Philipp has been really under a huge stress and as well as we did our best to support him on all aspects possible, I couldn't find the time I wished to provide him for making with him his presentation. However, I did manage to make his slider in the last days after getting back from the hospital where I headed all the week after the @globalschool hours to support Mina (Creative director & Mentor at the @globalschool) who get a huge hidney operation and needed a dedicated and caring surrounding. Fortunately, the students made an exceptional work and it made me confident as we could support Fatima and Philipp, but I couldn't find the time for the one of the @globalschool, but today with the amazing of all the group we made it.

I'll definitely make a longer article and share with the students all the making of the event and of both the awareness campaign we are working on and the crowdfunding campaign we just launched in the same time.

What was important was to demonstrate the capacity of @globalschool to support in a first place a social entrepreneur such as Philipp to make his vision a reality beyond the structure and platform ensuring an impact, that is why he created @ionart to support street artists. Then realizing the potential with some friends he decided to create @artcanhelp to raise awareness through arts and live performances. However, as any entrepreneur you need to develop a number of new skills and you are limited by human condition if not by resources or connections. With the support of our mentors we gather requirements from people with ideas such as Philipp who have a big vision and limited resources, connection or experience. Then we give these requirements to our pool of students, we ask them how they would make it.

If only creatives and entrepreneurs would have the data, methods and resources as the big players to reach their markets. We could reach bigger audiences and find supporters for a number of causes these artworks are representing.

Creating such event is synergetic and allows both artists to perform and get rewards they can share with charities to support their dedication.

However, such realization can’t happen without the joint effort of a growing pool of supporters.

Additionally to the event and the efforts made by Philipp, the @globalschool last weeks (mentors included) provided around 350 human work hours to support @artcanhelp and in the 2 last dedicated all their time and effort to create medias to raise awareness and launch a crowdfunding to ensure a post event impact and make such action more sustainable.

To achieve:

• preparation of the event
• 3 presentations (for @artcanhelp, the Somalian organization and @globalschool)
• 3 posters
• 3 minutes 50 sec educational video, including
• an original animation
• 1 cryptoart work for crypto donator (which will be proposed in auction at terms of the campaign)
• 2 t-shirts designs

We would like to do even more, but we can't give more than competences and our time. To get a real impact we need some more resources that is why we showed what was possible to do in 2 days. It is whitout saying the amazing advocacy about cryptoart from @stellabelle defintely encouraged us for this project to expose art with a QR code and an invitation to make a crypto-donation. It also gave us the first opportunity to display the logo of #steem on the wall of the event! Another small step bringing blockchain within the artspaces in Vienna. :)
