Promo video I made for Slothicorn and ONO! More opportunities for artists on the blockchain!
We live in exciting times, more and more social media sites are popping up on the blockchain, offering us decentralized ways to mingle and share our content. This is especially exciting for artists as we will have more places to get exposure for our art and continue building stronger communities.
For the foreseeable future Slothicorn will continue operating on Steemit as usual but the movement will also be spreading to ONO which will be launched very soon for international users! ONO will be running on the EOS blockchain, feel free to ask me any questions you like in the comments and check out the links below for more info!

Which other platforms do you mean?? I just know Steemit so far.
There are a few other ones such as sola, obsidian etc. but none of them seem to have really taken off yet, I think it will take some time before people discover these, even steemit is quite small at the moment!

Wonderful video Julia and thank you very much for including my artwork:) I ve red the new rules of @slothicorn and i believe that they are more than fair, with so many people and submissions things must get harder. Also i checked Ono a little bit and it looks very promising i cannot wait to get the english version in my hands:)

Hi. Could you maybe tell me in short points how their monetization system works exactly in comparison to Steem, (or point me to an article that explains it). Id like to know how that could benefit me as a musician. Thx.

At the bottom of the post I also provided some links if you really want to know the details you can read the white paper, it will be similar to steemit but with some key differences in regards to monetization through ads (if you choose) and payout time (you get paid out every 24 hours but it looks like there is no cap and the content always stays open for voting!)
