White Mountain - Acrylic Pouring

About two weeks ago, I submitted my art school portfolio. Wish me luck! o((^▽^))o
While I was working on the submission, I experimented with different techniques to show a range for the faculty. The school I'm applying to is very multi-disciplinary, which is exciting.
One technique I tried was acrylic pouring. This picture is of my third pour. ❤️ The first two didn't turn out as nice. (‘-’*)
Acrylic pouring involves mixing the paint with water and often another medium to get it to flow nicely. I chose to use white glue because it was easy to get. The technique I found involves pouring the colours into a cup one by one, flipping the cup over on the canvas, and letting the paint pour out. It makes a large puddle and you gently tilt the canvas around to cover the surface area. Sometimes you prep the canvas with a layer of paint first so that it doesn't soak up the paint so quickly and it can flow.
I really liked doing this. It was so inspiring and relaxing. I poured again a couple days ago so I will show you that next time. (/^▽^)/
