Victory Over Blindness
"Victory Over Blindness" is a bronze statue of seven soldiers blinded in the First World War, marching with a hand on the soldier of the man in front of them. It's a very poignant statue commissioned by Blind Veterans UK and unveiled by the Countess of Wessex in 2018 at the Manchester Piccadilly station. The sign for the statue was written in both English and Braille.
Manchester Piccadilly is the main train station in Manchester. I have been seeing quite a lot of it!
