Drawings in the comments
Some time ago I invented the tag: nowords inspired by @shortcut and @roused who at the time was super-tag-inventors.
The posts had only non-written content like music, drawings, photos or videoclips, but the really funny part of it was the comments. People answered in riddles and rebuses (@vcelier is a master of rebuses), had strange association games with gifs or youtube music and just had plain fun in the textless realm.
Some of the treads really went wild, but I have a hard time finding old things on Steemit so this is just an example: https://steemit.com/nowords/@katharsisdrill/nowords-vii
Comments are really a great place to exchange non-textual content. A couple of days ago @shortcut and I started a comic in the comments... the comicomments so to speak. He wrote about it in this post: My #Inktober Drawings // Part 6, and it ain't finished yet :)
Below are some of the images I have made for comments. Later I have used them for other things like post, but they were all originally from comments.
Good times remembered!
Indeed!
Great collection! Not many people (I know) put more energy (and creativity) in their comments as you.
The #nowords tag and what evolved from it was really a new genre and also the #commentComic could become an artform on it's own.
Sometimes I wished I could resteem comments to make bring more attention to them, cause the comment section has a huge influence on the success of Steemit.
@donnadavisart puts effort into her comments too!!!!!!!
Could be funny to go hunting for good comments - curating the best comments instead of the best posts or maybe even better, make a posts with the best comments of the week.
Could be very time consuming, but well worth a try.
Yes, maybe we already have our plate full.
