UNI week 1/2/3 | U-log
Third week of my Natural History Illustrator course.
I never took an online course before, so, I did not know what to expect.
In this case or at least until now seems like nobody is to the other end and, that it is all based on self assessment (which is not what I was expecting) and automated answers (no breaking the mold).
Artistically, it is like taking a BIG step back, into a hyper-realistic and traditionally structured painting.

Leonardo's thumb rule is about proportions and not focal point.
The "right" answer is The Rule of Thirds .
The reason behind my answer is simple: the Golden Ratio or Fibonacci Sequence is a traditional method.
Principles of layout according to Leonardo, here he makes good use of the Fibonacci Principles.
I particularly like to create around these principles because they are not as common as the The Rule of Thirds.
Anyhow, my full deviant score is 9/15 but I am here to share with you the drawings:-
Week 1. Homework task: Tonal drawing experiments.
Week 2. Observational Drawing
Week 3... I have been on tight schedules all week but tomorrow I'll be on the field for my field journal, if it rains, Behemoth's green house will have to do.

Yes, it was challenging. Many were actually complaining on how difficult the task was.
Now, it could be my impression, but I have seen less people posting their work this week or there will be a load of late posts.
