Hello dear friends of steemit, I hope you are very well, today I want to share a drawing that I really liked to do, with sincerity it was not an original thought, I saw it on pinterest one day while I saw tattoos and I liked the idea, so I decided to do it my way.
I made the sketch with a mechanical pencil 0.5 and then I defined the lines with a black pencil with a fine tip.
Then I decided to make a kind of shading with parallel and very thin lines following a little the curvature of each petal.
Little by little and with a lot of patience until all the petals were replenished with lines.
Then continue with the turtle definition and fill in some of your points.
Once the black and white drawing was completed, I started adding color with the watercolors. I decided that the first color would be dark blue with a slightly purple tone.
Then add the purple color mixing with the blue so that the degraded effect remains and the same with the pink of the tips.
To finish, apply yellow in the center of the flower, with some touches of orange to then make a gradient of brown tones to the turtle and finish defining the lines of the petals.
I made a very tender turtle which in turn was also delicate because its shell was a lotus flower with a beautiful gradient, although at first I really liked the black and white ending, but I felt that it lacked color, I invite you to see the process I hope you like it.
