I am going to be a the new artist at Kosterfestivalen!

Hi Everyone!

How are you today?

I just arrived back yesterday coming from sun and close to 30 degrees celsius in Norway to land in a very cold and wet Portugal. Ha! What a bummer. Luckily today the sun is shining again and it's predictd that This is it! Summer is finally here!

My trip to Norway was very fruitful in many ways, one, and the most exciting is that it's finally official that I am going to be the festival artist at Kosterfestivalen!

Kosterfestivalen is a little festival that is held every year at the end of July on a little island in Sweden outside of Strömstad called Kosterøyene.

Here is what the orginazers of the festival say about the consept;

''Koster Chamber Music Festival’s mission is to be an arena for cultural diversity, where music and art will be introduced in a maritime setting. The festival is a collaboration between Norway and Sweden. Featuring international artists, we aim to combine the islands of Koster’s unique distinctive character and fauna with something equally beautiful culturally - chamber music for all!
Koster Chamber Music Festival's profile is to present family friendly concerts and performances, performed by young, up and coming artists alongside higher profiled established soloists''.

This event will be particulary fun and exciting because it will be the first time I'll officially exhibit my drypoints to a larger audience.

The festival will run from 20th until the 30th of July. I will be camping on the island for the first half of the time and if you are in the area I warmly welcome you to a truly unik experience.

My first time going to the festival is actually 10 years ago this year (!) and it was amazing! The sunset concerts set on a mountain top, the crystal clear waters, the superb seafood, the abundant and glorious fauna, and oh, ofcourse all the happy summer campers! ;)
