A collection of some of the Antic watches
Clocks and Watches are one of the other things besides Crystals that I am fond of. My own personal collection of wrist watches is around 15 and I like to keep increasing my collection.
These are a few Antic clocks that I have seen around in Museum and other places that have fascinated me. I don't think in today's age anything like this is made. So Gorgeous and elegant.
They have such a Royal look and these beauties seem to be priceless. These clocks must have witnessed some important events in the history. Time is something that no one can stop or hold onto. The Clock just keeps ticking,
This one is my favorite till date from all the Clocks that I have seen. The carving is so delicate and intricate.
This Angel one I find it very cute.
Though this one is not very attractive as the other ones but it has a charm and that very rusty look.

VOTE ENGINEWITTY FOR YOUR WITNESS
When I was a little kid there was a guy from our church that was a shut-in. He was a very old man and wasn't able to get out very much without the help of other people. We went and visited him one time and just about every spot there could be in his living room had a clock. All sorts of clocks from mantle type ones to big grandfather clocks. It was really amazing to see them all. Had cell phones been around then I really wish I had taken a picture. Your post brought back the fond memory of visiting that old man and seeing (and hearing) all of his clocks!
In the olden days there were some exquisite clocks I know, but now a days people do not have value for it. He must be one collector of clocks and surely must have been a delight to visit his place. Thank you for visiting my post @bozz

Exquisite clocks @nainaztengra I like the one with painting on it, it is nice to own and may go up in value more in the future. Here in the house after we lost our wall clock we haven't replaced it since then.
Now a days we go for the more fancier ones. I tried once to check out for this type of antic clock for my home, but the price was so high that I had to drop the idea.

These are some of the best that I have come across, I am sure there will be many out there. Such a beauty
So INTERESTING and TIMELY that you mention this. I discovered a cafe here in Vietnam where the owner is a clock repair technician (as well as musician). I just found it interesting that this man is one of the most eclectic, creative people I have met here. I'm wondering your thoughts on the personalities of people who are interested in these sort of fine clocks (as opposed to other forms of fine art). Also, that clock on the pedestal is very reminiscent of the Indian temples (like Angkor Wat), with their deep philosophical concept of time. Any additional thoughts/posts on this???
Ohhh yes, I can very well relate it to an Individual personality. such people have a flair for the finer things of life, they can deep dwell into the inner beauty rather then the outward appearance, this is what I feel.
