Before reading the comments I was going to say a hand puppet dog but @dreemit beat me too it. :) If I push my laptop further away I see different details than when it's closer to me. Further away a big long tongue comes out of the dogs mouth that forks like a snake. It looks like a simple piece of art but it keeps you looking at it a long time.
If it was on a wall and your got bored of it, simply turn it around and it's a whole new game! I know it looks simple but these are always a treat for those who aren't superficial and allow their imaginations to run wild.
That is one trippy piece of art! It's like those, I'm not even sure what they're called but you have to stare hard and let it go out of focus to see the actual picture- I did that with this one, and what I see is you doing a puppet show with your hands. Freaking cool man.
I don't know what to call it either but it's just another instance of me attempting to trigger pareidolia. A special set pattern I'm slowly perfecting that always seems to fuck with the eyes. A lot of thought goes into what looks so damn simple when it's finished... dammit! Takes hours and sometimes a lot of trial and error. I don't think I could do this with pencil... I'd run out of erasers. That's cool that it seems to be working on everyone. Magic!
I feel like the afternote was partially for me, though that's probably just my arrogance acting up.
Also - just to toss what I think of as an interesting perspective on that picture - what I see (from left to right) is:
A childlike angelic figure sending out from his eyes or mouth... something, perhaps fire, perhaps lightning, perhaps smoke, and sending the same out from his hands toward a mysterious towering figure.
Also:I believe you like to support organic artists who work hard on this platform, so I thought you might appreciate @sanderjansenart, he's smallish, not earning much except on the occasional @curie upvote (and that itself says something about the quality of his content). His stuff's rather whacky, something I thought you'd appreciate, and he tends to resteem posts whose art he likes.
Now I've got to go think of something original and interesting to comment on your last post, or maybe work on my poem.
That was actually me taking a shot at some douche who said I don't produce any content here. I like rubbing things in when people treat me like crap for no reason.
An image like this will trigger visions, or at least that's the intention. It'll be different for almost everyone and change over time, and again, that's the intention. Seems to be working!

I'm honestly experimenting with a new format, and I do this from time to time; I'd like to be able to do it more. The art, though its looks simple, took long enough to produce, I'm satisfied with the amount of effort I put into this post, and don't feel like distracting people away from the point of the post, which was the art.
And yes, those copycats get a nice flag from me if I catch them, plus everything I produce will be for sale someday, when I get my shit together.

From all directions. Upside down, left side front, right side angled... whatever; you'll see things. This is an odd one and I'm glad I stopped when I did.
When I got to the point of calling it quits on this little piece; I said the very same thing. I think I stopped at just the right time. Next would have been adding colored layers but I think I would have lost most of the effect if I did anything else to it. Simple, yet complex.
I missed my flight home. Stranded now. That's actually a sandcastle selfie I made out of boredom. Of course these Earthlings can only sit there and argue. It's a face! No it's not! Yes it is! No it's not! Yes it is!
