Portrait and background
I did this painting for my students in the class of Drawing and Painting. I showed them a way to create a drawing on a previously painted background. The point is to put together abstract paintings and realistic drawing, as a way to grow up as an artist.
Well, it is just an exercise, ultimately.
The painting-drawing I did is a portrait of italian writer, poet and director Pier Paolo Pasolini.
Love the colors!
