Speeded Up Video - Painting Outdoors in Paradise, New Zealand
This is a speeded up video of me painting outdoors in a place called Paradise near the village of Glenorchy in southern New Zealand. It was a beautiful crisp sunny day for painting but it also brought out the sandflies which landed on my painting.
Painting outdoors is also known as painting en plein air, a French term for painting outdoors.
I painted this art work in oil on loose canvas taped to a board.
