All Pictures are Not Perfect. Still We Love Them.

in #art5 years ago

That's true, there are many Art or Painting, which don't get the outcome as we desired, still they are very close to our Heart. Any efforts put into any work never get wasted. And I am making sure of that by sharing the story of the spoil drawing.

IMG_20190315_205648~2.jpg

Today , my 11 year old #drawingqueen was quite upset , as she did not get what she was trying to make. Yes, she did not like the way the final touch given to the Painting . Although it was not much of her fault. Her efforts to rub the crayons Color with wet cloth spoil the "Lady in the picture".

She was putting all her effort , in making the drawing. She made the sheet look very attractive with her Crayons Color combination. Very elegantly , she putting the crayons Color on the white piece of paper.

After putting the Crayons Color, she was very carefully rubbing the paper sheet with wet cloths to balance out the extra crayons put on the paper, so that Color looks good the sheet.

She beautifully drawn the grasses shade at the bottom, and started to sketch out the lady figure. but when she was putting the final touch of the lady she got bit distracted, spoiling the lady figure on the painting. Anyway with all her heavy heart, she completed it and keep it aside.

Two things are quite praiseworthy, she atleast made sure to complete , and second she knew where she went wrong. Which is more important as realising the mistakes is good part to avoid future repetition. Lastly as usual it is priceless for me, which makes me share on Steemit. To make sure no efforts get wasted.

Overall, I love the efforts put into the art /drawing work, and a little bit of distraction at this tender age are excused. She is still learning the shadow art drawing, and hopefully these little mistakes help her to get more perfect in near future... Mistakes are the Learning curve in One's Life

Stay Calm....

Still better than what I could draw mate haha! Great wisdom from a young age to learn from mistakes. Hope she doesn't get distracted in future drawings now :)

Haha....to tell you secret I never held any Color pencil in my hand 😉 but looking her craze and liking for Color I simply let her loose ...to do whatever she can do...but such silly thinh is way of learning for her which she simply understands.

It turned out very cool. I feel her in this moment, on each piece of art.

Thanks @amalinavia indeed it has something to cheer which prompted me to share on Steem. Though I am very poor in this subject so I didn't found any mistake until she pointed it out.😉

I actually had this same situation with my daughter just last week. She was so upset that she couldn't get the picture she saw in her mind onto the canvas. It's so hard for us creative types sometimes, to deal with the disappointment of a "fail" or just not quite what we wanted. It's good that she finished and knew what she did wrong. That's a big thing!

That's is what made me more happy...nowadays the kids are too passionate about their work and hardly digest failure but the maturity she shown really surprises me...instead of getting much disappointed she simply finished and completed no matter she never look these back...but main thing she knows what made her wrong...might help her in building better tomorrow.

Indeed....failure is the stepping stone towards a brighter tomorrow....but still I believe it's not a failure ..she completed the work even when she realised her mistake...I gave her 100%...😉...

Hello @steemflow!

Thank you for fostering your daughter's talents. Today, most parents are obsessed with their children doing great in their academic subjects that they forget that there are people like us who love expressing ourselves by creating things.

For that, I am grateful. Our "race"will not die just as I have often feared.

Kind regards

Anne

Hahaha...,👍 More surprisingly she is better than me in academics.....and artwork is her natural talent. ..she never went to any art school she just want to play with Colors and seeing her craze we just let her loose.....more interestingly I never liked to play Color...I never drew a circle by hand...but she amazes me with her creativity...she indulge herself into all these work whenever she get time...this is her favourite timepass.

I don't know if its true for everyone but, they say that we usually excel in more than one field and, academics especially math and science are the common fields. Nurture her. Let her grow into the best person that she can be.

I just nearly forget: We are very sensitive and emotional at times. hahahahahahaha

Haha...yes parents do set a higher expectation from their kids. I have seen many parents asking more from their kids...but I do prefer to give them liberty of their choice and try to keep a watch on them. Academics do have their own importance but these extra curricular activities do help them in their growth...."expectation reduces Joy" so I never I keep any 😉

At least she completed the entire thing! Meanwhile I should somehow feel bad for my huge pile of incomplete stuff scattered everywhere in my computer's hard drive...

Also, the final product is actually beautiful. It might not be perfect but it doesn't change the fact!

At her tender age I never look for perfection....afterall she just wanted to play along with all the Colors so simply letting her loose and see what she is actually upto ....the best thing while doing all these drawing she able to get her concentration better. And I love to see her Colorful are as I never been into these field....it's all her own choice.

I love the colors on it which is very warm. Mistakes sometimes makes an artwork unique. Tell your daughter to keep on drawing and be inspired.

It's her craze which she posses since birth. We never went to any art school but her fondness about Color and making different art inspired me to keep her do what she likes....she always chooses the Color which make me awe. Color combination is always good...and creative...I let her loose on drawing and always motivates ..the freedom to be better

Please tell your #drawingqueen that as soon as I saw this artwork, I felt a wonderful sense of joy at the simplicity, colors, and energy in her work. And I completely agree - mistakes shouldn't be seen as negative in a case like this, just a learning tool on how to become better. I have no doubt her artwork will one day hang in a gallery somewhere! Brightest of blessings to you and your family, @steemflow. 😊

Me too! Joy and beauty.
I think it is an amazing piece of art. It didn't necessarily strike me as a child's work either.
I can't see fault in it.
I do quite a lot of drawing at home with my kids. I don't get out much, so we look for home activities. Kids can judge their work quite harshly and are cautious when putting crayon to paper in case they make a mistake. I encourage them to work over the area that they consider "wrecked" and make it part of the picture as it evolves.
And make big work, with big mistakes. My daughter got upset once about a mistake she made. I drew a big scribble of lines through mine, then worked it into the drawing. It was fun. It turned out pretty OK. It went in a different direction, but I seldom know where my drawings are headed. They are usually fashioned by the mistakes I make.
I'm glad she finished it.

Thanks for the wonderful viewpoint on the work @girlbeforemirror mistakes are part of life and helps people to get better. I was more happy that she managed to complete the work even when she realised her mistake. Which is really a big part. She might get upset and left in between ,but she carried on. It's all her natural talent which simply amazes me....I never been so keen on drawing and painting but looking her craze for artistic touch I let her loose in all possible way. ...let her explore the colorworld which I never ever explored...

My daughter got very upset and sanded her painting off the Masonite recently, I didn't think it a good idea, I wanted her to keep going. As it turns out the texture that was left became a wonderful base for the amazing finished work.
I really enjoy seeing their creative process unfold. A different approach to mine, and the results usually better too. Watching our children make decisions ,even ones that we wouldn't, maybe especially those that are not the ones we would make , and seeing success is a proud, humbling experience too.
Parenthood is full of lessons. It is not easy, but it I'd magic.

Indeed it teaches us many lesson from.the hands of our kids ....we would get to see a different world all together ....wish to see them grow in every aspect of their life

That's so nice of you @traciyork reading this makes me feel so much relaxed and proud. ...the best comment ever received for #drawingqueen. ..these art and crafts are simply not of my subject so I do not have much insight and I simply lover all her work. It her that pointed me the mistakes..making me realise but still the vibrant colour and the theme is great for me ..she is doing best and learning by whatever way she get around. One more thing she never gone to any art and craft classes ...it's all her own work.

Posted using Partiko Android

I think that the drawing is still beautiful, and if you wouldn't told me me about it, I've would never thought that there was a mistake. Is a beautiful piece :3 and we learn how to do art by seeing the goods and bass on our jobs. Art is to express, not to be perfect (At least you wanna express the perfection xD)

Posted using Partiko Android

That's true wording..art is all about expressing ...even few drops of Color can become a master piece. Interestingly I do not have much insight about art and crafts so simply I loved the work untill she pointed me the mistakes...this is being my understanding but all her effort simply put me in awe.

Posted using Partiko Android

Something that always happens to artist is that we are never pleased with our artworks xD when you see it itself you think it's pretty until the artist tells you all the reasons why he didn't liked what he do xD

Posted using Partiko Android

That's true...they have different perspective which a normal audience never judge ...for a normal audience any colour is an art 😉
