Today I will present you one of a series of drawings which I have worked on based on a theme, and this is called...

VENOM

To start I'll tell you a little about "VENOM"

WHO IS VENOM?

Venom is considered one of the most dangerous and ruthless villains in the Marvel universe, as well as being one of Spider-Man's main enemies. It is an extraterrestrial symbiote, from Planet Beyond, which is hosted enters the body of people and endows them with great powers, in exchange for seizing their mind and body. His first appearance was in the comic Marvel Super Heroes: Secret Wars # 8, in December of 1984, where the story of how Peter Parker becomes the first carrier of Venom is told.

After the two separated, this was merged with the journalist Eddie Brock, who happened to be near the place where the arachnid hero manages to expel Venom from his body, a scene that was portrayed in Spiderman 3, starring Tobey Maguire.

FUN FACTS

Venom was going to be a woman

When McFarlane shuffled ideas for the character he was creating, it occurred to her that Venom could be a woman. Not only that, it had the story more or less mounted: the idea was that a pregnant woman was crossing with her husband when he is run over by a taxi that had been distracted watching Spiderman crossing between skyscrapers. Desolate the woman loses her baby and swears revenge on the arachnid superhero.

Hardy: first DC, now Marvel

It is not the first time that Tom Hardy plays a comic book villain. In "The dark knight: The legend is reborn" Hardy played Bane, Batman nemesis. For the role he had to drastically change weight, which led to health problems after the shooting.

Yes, it will be Spiderman

In social networks there have been many criticisms because Spiderman does not appear in the trailer. Many assure that the Peter Parker will not be in all the footage, but according to the agreement signed between SONY and Marvel for the first reboot of Spiderman, the superhero has to appear.

Guardians of the Galaxy?

As it happens many times in Marvel a character can have different storylines. With Venom, it also happens. The most curious thing is that the Venom of Flash Thompson ends up being part of The Guardians of the Galaxy, which would give a plus continuity to the Marvel saga that makes it viable for us to see it in the cinema.

Motion capture and computer generated images are becoming more common in Marvel movies. In this case, Tom Hardy has also set to shoot all the shots with green canvas of his character.

Now, let's go to the drawing .. First of all the design that will be presented next is NOT mine, I did it on a website, well-known called pinterest, I liked it a lot and decided to translate it.

The materials for the realization of this drawing, are these:

Letter paper sheet.
Pencil 4H-2H.
Pen or black marker fine point.
Colors.
Optional, rules and / or compass.

FIRST STEP.

We start sketching with pencil 4H, we can make guidelines or referential lines using rules and / or compass. And with 2H pencil we finished giving shape to the figure that we have set out to do.

SECOND STEP.

We emphasize with a pen or a fine point black marker the drawing so that the figure stands out in a very beautiful shape and is defined a little more.

THIRD STEP.

We finish giving details to our drawing using lights and shadows in it, blurred - degraded with our colors black, gray and white mostly, achieving contrast between them.
