This would be my first write up for the artisans. I am actually excited to be on board as one of the writers, a big shout-out to @mediahousent on this. We would be looking at what being an artisan entails together, and all I am writing would be centered on this.

“Artisans are skillful people, they are those that pick up ideas and can present it in a physical way where the beauty of such idea is preserved. These set of people are all about creativity, and they spend a lot of time in either thinking of ideas or creating them.”

It is normal for them to take some things for granted. Most of the time, artisan appear rough and dirty which is not supposed to be so.
There are some things, they should take note of, and these are what we would share amongst ourselves. The salient things that would make one look more presentable, paying more attention to them would show how organised a person/artisan is;

1. Hands and hair:

The hands and the hair should be kept tidy at all times. It is good to be dirty at work, it shows work is really been done. The hair getting rough and the fingernails dirty might be something that happens on a regular basis. One thing is for sure, and that is the conscious effort to appear tidy beats the aforementioned.
After work, the hair should be at least combed back to normal before getting home to cleanup. No one knows the potential investors that have seen him with a rough hair. The finger nails deserves to be filed regularly too.

2. Proper dressing:

The code for this is to appear smart, smartness is the key to being properly dressed. The cloth should be properly ironed and worn, appearing smart as an artisan speaks volume of the persons personality.

3. Deodorant:

Taking bath makes us clean, it does not rid us of bad odour. Everyone has a peculiar odour which might not be apparent to the bearer, only those around us get to smell it. It would be thoughtful to always have a deodorant, it shows you are considerate of others. Smelling nice is not bad, having a body odour is.

4. Straight and tall:

This does not mean an artisan has to be tall, (lol) not at all (I would not want to offend the ‘not too tall' ones). This is about the posture, either standing or sitting. It should be erect and straight, it depicts a serious type. Besides it is good to avoid body pains, as it is the best posture.

5. Smile:

Stay happy always and wear a smile, this is the master deodorant.

“Adopt this five tips and watch people's perspective of you change.”
