It is possible that the cartoonist wanted to suggest a relationship of implication or derivation between the image of the young Asian woman concentrated on her connection with her smarthphone (listening to music, surely) and the aggressive dinosaur. The monsters that are released into our fantasizing mind, or the context that attacks our freedom as individuals... A suggestive work of street art.
You make an excellent interpretation of the word and the image, @velimir. Maybe we are a new species in extinction, lost. A generation that loses what is in the environment. In the end it is a monster out there and inside. I like it
Very suggestive image and premise.
In the same way dinosaurs are lost/extinct/remote to us, we may be so for someone or something else in a near future.
Depending to the theory we find more believable, we lost dinosaurs to natural catastrophes, their inability to adapt, climate change, or a combination of some of these possible causes; we may lose ourselves to our own undoing.
Hopefully whatever comes next will have that fact clearly documented.
