Spider CoccoonsteemCreated with Sketch.

in #art5 years ago (edited)

There was once a spidery contents here but a spider has now put them inside coccoons.... Like Shelob did with Frodo Baggins~ Or maybe like those fleshy things in Aliens before the chestburster bursts out of them~ Yep, like one of those things :D

thaaaaaaaaank you felixi <333333333

Welcome!!!! ~^^~

Grass is something that can be very hard along with flowers and detailed leaves.
I like what you did and the feeling that the painting gives. Dark Woods is a nice title for it :)

Yes, detailing work can be quite a challenge (which I have failed this time).....

Thank you so much for this comment :)

I fail at drawing hands and 2 eyes, making them the same. One is always perfect and the other sucks! People that can do both are the Einsteins of art :D

Yeah, watch your step ;)

Look who's saying that...

YEAH MISTER TURTLE

im watchin' im watchin'~

This looks great to me, but then again I have never touched a brush. Keep it up and I am sure that you can be the next Van Gogh!
Blessings

aaaa thank you for the encouragement ! i shall keep it up, for sure !!!

I really like your work on stage 3 and 4 :) You have your own style and your favorite colors that you use in watercolor. And your work becomes recognizable)

Aaah, thanks so much, @veta-less * ___ * Very kind of youuu <3 <3 <3

I'm so glad you tried watercolors and chose to persist on it ! ^^ From my experience, your first steps have not enough water on the brush, you start too much like gouache style. Maybe try what happens with very light layers on the beginning. Also, you can have some absorbing paper to use when you feel you put too much color or water : it works like an eraser, which you can control (partial "erasing" or total "erasing"). Good luck, I can't wait to see what happens next ! ^^

Gouache style :O I would like to learn gouache one day also !

Thanks for the tips, @djacbaweur :) I'll try with applying light layers at the beginning next time, for sure :)

😍😍👍😍😍

I lovee it!!
