what a lovely mess you have made, dear Vincent. There is something quite lovely about losing yourself in a moment of creativity. I feel the same when I write poetry or stories, but don't always have time to do them, or the muse doesn't visit. In summer, when it gets so hot I'm about to tear my hair out, drawing mandalas helps me calm down.

I love lovely messes as well as lovely messages ;>)

Talking about hot weather, I heard it starts to become more agreeable on your side of the globe. I think it's about time as Spring has begun a while ago, right? It's still very agreeable early Autumn weather, out here in Portugal. In fact, this temperature ( around 20 degrees Celsius ) really suits me.

Um abraco!

Yeah, you totally get it :>)

Interesting enough, I got back to game making soon after with a newly found drive. Now this little game is finished I kind of feel like getting back to painting, so I might pick that up again tomorrow.

Procrastinating by doing something else you need or want to do anyway is totally legit 😜

The only expectations I have is that you enjoy yourself and also remember that there are some unpleasant parts to things you enjoy that you may need to just push through to continue enjoying the overall thing 😝

Perhaps try some plein air painting next to combine painting and outside time 🙃

and also remember that there are some unpleasant parts to things you enjoy that you may need to just push through to continue enjoying the overall thing

who knows, there might be a way to turn the unpleasant into pleasant. After all, it's just a label anyway ;>)

Talking about outdoor painting. Awesome idea! I literally thought of this months ago: get some kind of foldable / miniature easle, some painting tools and a backpack and combine hiking and ( landscape? ) painting.

Thanks for the reminder!

xx

I haven’t found a way to enjoy rigging or retopo yet 🤣 what gets me through is knowing that good rigging and retopo helps animation a lot and I love animating 🤣

Hoping to see some outdoor paintings at some stage 😜

I also love the tag #hypersenitivosaurus - cutest tag on steemit!

Thank you for giving me a reason to use that tag even more. My game making brother called me today, after having played my dino game. One of the biggest compliments he gave me, was telling me that he liked the character so much that he wouldn't mind seeing more games built around this hypersensitive carnivorous lizard :>)

Except he should be a vegan lizard! Because he gets sad about eating animals.

And yes, weather IS agreeable here in Spring. Yesterday was 25 degrees! Lovely. Next week down to 14 again... brrr. Very changeable but when it is pleasant, its pleasant.

Interesting. Here it has been around 25 degrees today and yesterday and it will - apparently go to 14 and rain from Sunday onwards. Are we mirroring each other, not just in birthdays ( although yours is a day later, due to the time difference it seems like we're having our birthday on the same day haha )

Let's wish for some nice weather on the 10 th and 11th of October.

P.S. I will keep the vegan lizard in mind. Can't promise anything though as I have a weakness for velociraptors

Vincent! You don't use linseed oil with watercolor paint! It's strictly for oil paintings. If you want a medium to paint with, use gum arabic.

I was wondering if anyone noticed the little joke that I staged on the pictures.
Just kidding. I am aware of the above, not sure why I didn't notice it while painting haha

Thanks for the advice.

P.S. I love to not play by the rules though, being a stubborn creative and all ;>)
