How to draw an Elf or a Fairy
Easy Art titled Elf Girl - How to draw an Elf or a Fairy. This is a fast, relatively easy drawing, even though it might seem difficult. Once you have the outlines of the Elf Girl and the flowers, its just a case of 'filling in' the detail. And with this 'filling-in' process you can let your imagination go - there are no real rules.
This drawing is done with only a Fineliner, a soft graphite pencil, coloured pencils and some coloured Sharpie pens and permanent markers. The blue background is done with soft pastel.
There is no need to invest in expensive materials to get a good result. Our materials are all bought in a regular supermarket here in Thailand. The paper we use is good quality sketching or watercolor paper. Some watercolor paper adds a great texture, should you want a texturised drawing.
I love the 'small' folk and since a child I have been drawing all the small people - the fairies, the dwarves, the elves, the gnomes.... Today we meet an Elf girl. This is an idea that I saw on Pinterest and I gave this artwork my own variation. The original artwork was done by Emily Bee. Thank you for your inspiration Emily.
