En esta ocasión retraté a la famosa modelo, escritora y actriz británica Cara Jocelyn Delevingne, en una cartulina opalina tamaño A4, esta es una de las obras a las que mas le he puesto detalle, en especial en los destellos de brillo del cabello y su contraste con el fondo gris oscuro del fondo. estuve cerca de dos días en terminarlo y como siempre, llevé un registro fotográfico de todo el proceso que mostraré a continuación. una obra bastante delicada ya que como habrán notado, los rostros femeninos en el dibujo son bastante mas complicados por la suavidad de sus rasgos y el alto detalle en el cabello en la mayoría de las ocasiones.

On this occasion I portrayed the famous model, writer and British actress Cara Jocelyn Delevingne, on an opaline cardboard A4 size, this is one of the works that I have put more detail, especially in the flashes of hair shine and its contrast with the dark gray background. I was close to two days in finishing it and as always, I took a photographic record of the whole process that I will show next. a very delicate work since as you have noticed, the female faces in the drawing are much more complicated by the softness of their features and the high detail in the hair in most occasions.

El Proceso

The Process

Como es costumbre, comencé a dibujar en la zona de los ojos, quienes conocen a esta actriz sabrán que tiene unos ojos bastante expresivos, así que traté de asimilar este rasgo en mi dibujo, las cejas son bastante oscuras y marcadas, con poca textura en el centro y algunos cabellos sobresalientes en los bordes. el interior de los ojos fue trabajado con lápices 6H y 2B para dejar resaltando las zonas de iluminación.

La sombra de alrededor de los ojos en la parte mas cercana es bastante oscura, es lo que considero es el rasgo que le da esa mirada tan expresiva, esta parte fue trabajada con lápices 2B y 4B, y el resto de la piel ya un poco mas clara, con un lápiz 6H.

As usual, I began to draw in the eye area, those who know this actress will know that she has quite expressive eyes, so I tried to assimilate this feature in my drawing, the eyebrows are quite dark and marked, with little texture in the center and some hair protruding at the edges. The inside of the eyes was worked with 6H and 2B pencils to highlight the lighting areas.

The shadow around the eyes in the closest part is quite dark, is what I consider is the feature that gives that expressive look, this part was worked with pencils 2B and 4B, and the rest of the skin and a little more clear, with a 6H pencil.

tras dibujar la nariz delinee el borde del rostro con una linea oscura que llega hasta la quijada y da la sombra en el cuello para darle realce al rostro y profundidad al dibujo, este fue uno de los detalles mas importantes, comencé a dibujar la parte inferior del rostro donde se encuentra la boca y la barbilla, esta parte me costo un poco y le corregí algunos detalles incluso al final del dibujo.

after drawing the nose delineate the edge of the face with a dark line that reaches to the jaw and gives the shadow on the neck to enhance the face and depth to the drawing, this was one of the most important details, I began to draw the bottom of the face where the mouth and chin is, this part cost me a little and I corrected some details even at the end of the drawing.

El Cabello

The Hair

El cabello fue bastante sencillo pero me llevó casi un día terminarlo, tengo bastante práctica en esta técnica que he desarrollado con los años así que e sentí bastante cómodo trabajando esta área, primero marqué la textura con lápices 6H y luego le di volumen con lápices 4B; y como cereza sobre el pastel, los efectos de brillo, los hice con un borrador moldeable para darle alto detalle y realismo.

The hair was quite simple but it took me almost a day to finish it, I have enough practice in this technique that I have developed over the years so I felt quite comfortable working this area, first I marked the texture with 6H pencils and then I gave it volume with 4B pencils ; and as cherry on the cake, the effects of brightness, I made them with a moldable eraser to give high detail and realism.

Para finalizar, con una regla marqué los bordes para darle un toque de elegancia al dibujo, y con polvo de grafito y un algodón, dibujé el fondo con su aspecto opaco y desenfocado, además con el borrador moldeable di la impresión de algunos cabellos despeinados en los bordes como toque final.

Finally, with a ruler I marked the edges to give a touch of elegance to the drawing, and with graphite powder and a cotton, I drew the background with its opaque and unfocused appearance, plus with the moldable eraser I gave the impression of some disheveled hair in the edges as a final touch.
