When the storm settles

And we review our lives with the sober acceptance of mortality, we begin to see that not much is important. Our various games bring do not bring deep satisfaction. When the human being crosses through intensity and the fear of death, changes begin to start taking place. We become re orientated toward our real questions and our real purpose.

A new life begins to form, a new life that is naturally generated and given to you. Your old synthetic life dies away and begins to peel off like the skin of a snake. Know that the discomfort is temporary, and continuing on will be the thing that fully relieves us of that dangling skin.

I have had several such experiences, where I believed that I was going to die. Yet somehow I continue on, and I'm able to write this story. If there's no incentive to face things experientially and existentially, then life will provide the right context. Either gently convinced or strongly told, things become more and more extreme until we get the message. When we are ready to go through that experience, we face our own death - and we go forward from that place with the understanding that we cannot actually die.

On the other side of the storm I can see that these extremes are by no means necessary. These extremes are a byproduct of the times we live in, and also our own stuckness. Strong experiences are a powerful stream of water which dislodges us from the rocks and into life once again.

So here I am, just a piece of life floating on down the river. And in the quiet certainty of my truth I know that the river starts and ends at the same place, the same place where we are at right now. Experience is a loop, the only difference that can be found is where we see it from.

Separation and distance are always a projection, they are a fascination of the mind which extends out from the unity of now-time.

The quiet certainty gives me the perspective to relax into just being, into just allowing this life to be lived. The quiet certainty lets me know that I can neither win nor fail, therefore I choose to follow the life that is most natural to me.

Consequences are an abstraction which betrays our fear of an imaginary future. A society run on the threat of consequences is simply madness. It is a fear control architecture that we defend righteously with our minds. It's a grand exercise in avoidance, we're all ways avoiding our uncertainty. We don't like to admit that we do not know what this life is. We don't like to admit that we are suffering, and most of all we don't like to be the odd one out with a voice of our own.

Avoidance is the construction of a personality which keeps everything together. The construct holds it together in a time based trap where it can live out it's expectations and quietly recede into death. There's a semblance of safety in the world of expectations, but it's a thin illusion revealing our deathly addiction to the past.

Human beings in our separation give a lot of importance to passing events, to various states that we inhabit, and to our specific explanations of how things work. In this way an entire matrix of understanding is constructed for us to filter life through. We call the filter life, while we rarely get a direct sensation of life its self in its pure essence.

Let life be, let the changes that are necessary flow through you

This isn't the life that we have been promised, this isn't the truth in our hearts. I know the truth of my heart to be a wide open space filled with possibility. It's a feeling of complete satisfaction, and being satisfied in its self it doesn't need anything from anybody.

Seperation is very much the old way, the outside-in paradigm of needing people and things to fulfill our lives and give us completion. Our true completion is inside of us, it is our eternal and fundamental nature as beings. We begin to see ourselves in the world and in everyone else.

As always, everything is occurring at the right time for us to perceive things more inclusively. We open up to a greater level of freedom, ultimately expanding beyond our imaginary constraints.
