How to Use Your Gemini Energy Wisely

No matter what your Sun Sign, your personality contains Gemini energy. Astrologers know we all contain every energy found in the Zodiac to a greater or lesser degree. It's what makes each individual complex and complete. And it's why Astrology works ... when you understand what it is saying about you, and why it doesn't ... when you don't.

Repressing, or failing to use, the components of your various Inner Selves sensibly is the cause of much personal confusion, heartache, frustration, and pain. It's also the source of many missed opportunities.

Most of us can't afford that. The wisest among us don't want to!!

So, let me talk a moment about Gemini energy and how it may affect your personality ... and your life.

Gemini energy is:

  • Your ability to think and learn; your ability to look at the world and what's happening around you and draw conclusions about what you find

  • Your ability to take in information; learn things, remember things, make decisions and form opinions

  • Your ability to communicate, to organize raw knowledge into thoughts you can use ... inside your own mind and that you can share with others

  • Your ability to think and talk, read and write, investigate appropriate sources of information -- to find out what you need to know about whatever's on your mind

  • Your ability to develop intellectual interests, retain what you've learned and build on what you know to invent things, come up with something novel, and demonstrate what you've created so that others can understand it the way you do

  • Your intellectual talents, perspectives, beliefs, opinions, views and ideas

When you are using your Gemini energy wisely:

  • First of all, you accept that you are a smart person who can learn what you need to know and figure things out to solve problems.

  • You use both your common sense and your "street smarts" ... your academic knowledge (the things you've learned in school and through studying what others have written about and know) ... and your own inventive talents to solve problems, make decisions and generally get along in the world.

  • You think, study, gather information and process what you've found. You read to find answers you don't have. You talk to people to see what they know that might help you live more effectively. You may even talk to yourself as a way of thinking things through, working things out or learning new stuff. You do things to develop your mind and acquire the skills you need to gain the goals you've set -- and get the things you need to have.

  • You come up with your own answers to questions and problems -- either based on what others have taught you or what you've devised through trial-and-error ... or just a brainstorm flash of inspiration that delivers the piece of the puzzle you need or the answer you're looking for at the moment.

  • You move around and investigate your world. You use your five senses to feed information to your mind. You analyze and question what you discover to make sure you understand things correctly. You experiment and try things out to test your ideas and prove the worth of both your concepts and your inventions.

  • You love novelty, the creation or discovery of something new. You find clever, inventive solutions to problems. You come up with new ideas to explore and new interests to pursue. You compare and contrast what you're learning with what you already know. You expand your database of knowledge and find ways to organize what you know into something informative, interesting, entertaining or useful.

  • You read. You write. You listen. You educate yourself every chance you get ... and are always ready and willing to learn something new, listen to new facts and information -- to see if they're worth having or if you need to modify your own beliefs and opinions.

  • You have an open mind ... so that new discoveries and alternate perspectives get a fair hearing. You are able to hold differing or contradictory opinions on various topics ... and appreciate and even argue the merits of each. Being "of two minds" on any number of things really doesn't bother you.
