I have actually listened to him on youtube quite a few times.
It's interesting to see something we've all learned from a different perspective.

I completely agree. Although I don't buy into everything he says, it's important to be critical of everything. It may get annoying for the serious people, but I don't think we should just trust authority. They didn't experience it first hand either.

That is a great report.

If nothing else, these books open your mind to different possibilities and realities that are not the ones we currently believe to be true. It is great for your mind to delve into these possibilities and good for the soul to enjoy the entertainment of an adventure from another time.

I don’t mind paying for books and might check this one out for a change.

These books are entertaining and do open my mind. Also, if it changes my opinion. I don't think it's dangerous to go around believing cavemen built the pyramids.

History is the past but also the foundation of the future!

I agree, very important to study. We also got to keep in mind a lot of it was written with an agenda.

I enjoy his books too. Interesting theories. It seems possible that we have had ice ages that wipe out civilizations every 12 000 years only for newer ones to form as the ice retreats, and they forget the previous knowledge so all we see is an inexplicable architectural structure.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense that civilizations just suddenly came out of nowhere 5000 years ago.

I think Graham Hancock is one of the ancient alien prognosticators, isn't he? At any rate, this is how I feel about those guys. They are funny to watch on the H2 channel, but I don't buy 95% of what they say. Even the factual parts make me raise my eyebrows based on how they tell it.

I'm not sure of his exact belief in Ancient Aliens. It seems like he is a more determined member of that broad group. He definitely is more careful and takes himself more serious than some of them.

I also find it funny if we look at them all as sophisticated trolls. Their individual beliefs and actions are harmless.

True. I think their main aim is to cast some doubt on actual science. But, as you say, individually they are harmless.
