A Night on Darling Harbour

Good drinks, a fine plate of ribs, fireworks, awesome music, an array of nightclubs, and even bowling! What more could a good tourist ask for?

If you’re visiting Sydney whether it’s by plane or yacht Darling Harbour is a must visit. If navel vessels are your thing stop by the Australian National Maritime Museum and tour a submarine, WW2 era navel ship or a olden day wooden warship. Otherwise, skip the tour and come for the happy hour drink and food deals. There’s an amazing assortment of food from ribs at the famous Hurricanes Grill to Turkish style tapas to Thai plates galore!

As night falls many restaurants slowly turn up the music, flip on the lasers and convert to clubs/lounges with everything from Happy Hardcore to Reggae blasting out onto harbour walk. If you play things right and get a good outdoor seat at 9:30 pm on most Saturdays fireworks light the sky.

After the fireworks die many wander back to their dwelling but for those up for more huge clubs with outdoor sections and massive indoor stages await. Each day brings a new style so be sure to check ahead but either way you won’t leave Darling Harbour disappointed!
