How to trigger your SteemAuto votes
It is no hidden fact that around 90+% of all accounts here on Steem only relies on auto votes from their friends and communities they are a part of to get some payout. Everytime SteemAuto or SteemVoter is down, a lot of people are only getting less than $0.5. Lol like me!
As much as I love to believe that this platform rewards people for their content, after months of being in here I'm starting to believe that it really rewards people based on their network.
More Influential Friends + Communities one is a part of = Good $$$
And in all honesty I have no problem with that kind of system even though engagement is not one of my strongest suit. What I really want Steem to become is a platform to replace the social media we now have and not to become another blogging platform.
If I want to take a selfie and post 20 of that on the Steem Blockchain then I should be able to post all that without being reported to SteemCleaners. In short, I just want people to treat this platform as a social media where we can just post and comment whatever we want and if people love our post/comment then we get rewarded for it. As long as the content you are posting is yours, then it should never be a problem. People should ditch the focus on "quality content" but more on engagement. Well that's just me though! And like I said I don't engage much but I do read a lot of blog posts here!

Anyway, I know you are not here for my thoughts on that matter but on how to trigger the SteemAuto votes. It's actually pretty annoying when you write a very good post and realized seconds after publishing it that SteemAuto was down and/or if you are like me who have a strict One Post/day policy and need to post early that day because you have some plans later at night, then you will for sure not get the vote since most of your friends and communities you are a part of only set you for 1 blog post per day.
Luckily for you, I have found an easy way to trigger your SteemAuto votes, and the answer to that is pretty simple: Just Edit Your Post on ESteem! That's it!
Yeah I'm not really sure why it triggers the votes though. Editing it on Steemit.com and Busy will not work but for some reason ESteem does. Of course the same rules still apply. If your voter set you to a limit of only 1 post per day, then you should only edit it after a day has passed to work. Pretty helpful when they are down and/or on maintenance or if you post way too early.
