B-17 Flying Fortress Bomber "Sentimental Journey" was in town

"Sentimental Journey" was in town this last week, and it flew over our house 3 times a day.

Sentimental Journey was built in December 1944 and never saw combat in World War II.

Of the 12,000 B-17 bombers built, this Flying Fortress is one of 8 that are still flight worthy.

I loved walking around the shiny beast bomber, and I will miss the sound of the four engines flying over our little house in Visalia California.
