Going Banano! Fold not Mine!
With Banano Miner, instead of running arbitrary calculations to "mine" cryptocurrencies, your computer runs protein fold simulations instead through Folding@Home to help scientists around the world fight diseases such as: Alzheimers, Cancer, Parkinson's.
As result of your contribution, you get rewarded in Banano (BAN).

If you have Chrome you can simply run the client on a browser tab, if you would use other browsers (like Mozilla Firefox) you would need to install their desktop client then view the folding process via an advanced stand-alone app or via a simple web-based viewer.
You will need a wallet to get your Banano rewards, I personally use Kalium (which is accessible via my Android smartphone).
