That is normal for the location. It is zoned to host a two family dwelling but could be approved for 4 units by the board of appeals.
Oh yeah, I forgot location matters, where exactly is the location making it 4 unit would be for rentage
The property is in Haverhill, Massachusetts, USA about 35 miles from Downtown Boston. The property with the house is at 358 Main Street, Haverhill, MA. The street that runs behind the barn is Portland Street.

The barn photos are a bit misleading. It is located in the city part of Haverhill right between a plaza with Taco Bell & KFC and another smaller plaza with Domino's. There are a lot of low income housing units in the area behind the barn. The Social Security Administration is across the street. And, the downtown part of Haverhill is less than a mile. There are quite a few restaurants and bars down there.
The area directly behind the barn is called "The Acre" and is well-known for drugs and gangs. Some call the general area (including Lawrence, MA & Lowell, MA) as ground zero for the opioid epidemic in New England.
I'll take some photos of the neighborhood and put them up.
