Bad Beat of The Week Freeroll Added! Join Us Saturday Night at 7 PM Central

This past week, we unveiled the brand new Bad Beat of The Week (BBOTW) competition. Each week, we'll reward 3 SBD, giving the loser of the BBOTW hand 2 SBD and the player who captured the screenshot and submitted the information 1 SBD. We were very pleased with your support of this new effort and hope that we can count on your upvotes and support now and in the future.

This week, the submitter of the post was @michaelluchies, who with @bethalea, organizes the BBOTW competition. Since both are ineligible to win prizes from this weekly contest, when Beth or I "win," we put that SBD directly in a freeroll for the community to enjoy as a thank you for supporting this effort and the league as a whole.

The Details

This Saturday, June 9, we will host the Bad Beat Freeroll, a 1 SBD tournament. Each player will start with just 1,500 in chips and blind levels will last 10 minutes. We should see plenty of early action, and hopefully, some bad beats as well.

Registration will open 60 minutes before the start of the tournament. We hope to see you there and please remember to upvote the BBOTW posts and daily "Today in the SPL" articles.
