Running the dog on Grange Beach proved to be another photo opportunity for this little tourist in Adelaide~

Like all cities, Adelaide offers a lot of variety for the locals, the tourists and the cherished loved dogs. For a couple of hours in the morning dogs are given the freedom to run without leads, so it was off to Grange beach for an hour or so while Jack the Collie could run to his heart's delight.

Walking the beach makes a good start for the day and I was taken with the long Grange Jetty, something that my surf beach on the Sunshine Coast does not have. I was told that a number of jetties were positioned along this part of the coast line. It is only possible to walk along the jetties because the water is quite shallow.

It was a perfect weather morning for a stroll and photographs:

Lots of rubbish bins conveniently placed along the beach for dog owners to throw in their poop bags. It is a very friendly dog beach, so nice to see. The dog owners happily walked and chatted while the dogs ran, sniffed and played. All very civil. What a dog's life!

Some local residents live in well positioned houses across the road to the beach.

Signing off from Adelaide.

Cheers and Blessings

Is that what's known as the dog days of summer?

Haha @lorrell, I think you are so right. Summer every day!

It's good they have the bins conveniently located.

Haha, a great thing!

Howdy angiemitchell! What a great beach and it's so nice to let the dogs have it for a couple of mornings without leads, very smart!
