Natural Beauty: Deodorant
Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars, and see yourself running with them. ~ Marcus Aurelius
To me, appreciating beauty is a natural side effect of feeling love and joy, and I'm happy to engage and all of those vibes! Cultivating beauty, love, and joy is uplifting and thoroughly enjoyable.
A true beauty practice can be a daily devotion to self-love, and embracing it as such makes it far more effective than just spreading some creams on the skin - it actually shines the heart.
I encourage utilizing the gifts of nature to enhance beauty, love, and joy, and today I will share an excellent formula.
Here is an easy recipe for natural deodorant:
- Place 3 tablespoons coconut oil and 2 tablespoons shea butter in a small mason jar. Place the jar in boiling water to melt together.
- Remove from heat and add 3 tablespoons baking soda and 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder or non-GMO cornstarch.
- Add essential oils of your choice. I like lavender and/or clary sage.
Voilà! It's that easy to make a homemade batch of deodorant and avoid all the nasty poisons in standard commercial products.
May your heart be bright and shiny!
💛 Sara!
